Crepelato: Crepes to Impress

The new creperie Crepelato opened its doors in the hopes of pleasing Davao city’s sweet tooths. My friends Jim and Anne were enjoying a Mango Float Crepe and Strawberry Crepe when they mentioned about the place in Plurk. Halfway through my Sunburst chicken meal, I thought what better way to cap a chicken dinner than with crepes! (ok that was a stretch)
Crepelato’s owner Victoria Evangelista gave us a thorough run-through of their menu. Their specialty is of course their crepes that come with different fruit fillings, topped with their very own homemade gelatos. They also offer cake gelatos — cakes with a scoop of gelato. And if you want pure gelato, you can order those by the scoop.

All Crepes and Cake Gelatos are priced at P65. Gelato scoops are P45 each. As part of an ongoing promotion, you get unlimited coffee and cookies for 30 minutes for only P100.

Hi! I have visited your place last June 1 when I went home to Davao from Manila where I’m currently working. I was with my sister for her advance birthday celebration and I must say, the food was heavenly. I LITERALLY drooled upon seeing the food served to us. It really made our day. Scrumptious is all I can say. I’m planning to go back for a more heavenly experience. Of course, I won’t go alone, I’ll tag along my friends and family so they can have their share of heaven, too.
